Badiani Eixample
Badiani's first gelato laboratory in Spain: 2,000 sq ft of industrial production and premium retail, inside Barcelona's Eixample Conservation Area.
Production you can watch from the counter
The laboratory produces 3 tons of gelato a week. A glass partition puts that production in view of the shop floor, so the process becomes part of the retail experience.
Behind it sits the infrastructure a production site needs — an industrial water chiller, heat recovery systems and water treatment — engineered to fit a building inside a conservation area.
We secured a single activity licence covering both B2B wholesale production and B2C retail, applied for simultaneously, alongside the conservation-area consents.
