Restaurant and kitchen fit-outs we have built
Frequently asked questions
Q1What is a design and build restaurant fit-out?
Design and build means one contractor is responsible for both the design and the construction of the fit-out. You get a single contract, a single programme and one team accountable for the result, instead of managing a designer and a builder separately. re:SPACE delivers design and build for restaurants, bars, food markets and retail across the UK and Europe.
Q2Do you install commercial kitchens?
Yes. We deliver commercial kitchen installation as part of design and build: layout, equipment coordination, extraction, refrigeration and the mechanical, electrical and plumbing services behind them. At Mercato Mayfair we fitted out 14 kitchens for independent operators inside a Grade I* listed church.
Q3Can you work with our own architect or interior designer?
Yes. Many clients come with a design team already appointed. We work alongside architects, interior designers and engineers, take their drawings through technical design and build them. If you do not have a design team, we can provide the design as part of the package.
Q4Do you supply kitchen equipment?
We specify, coordinate and install kitchen equipment, working with established suppliers rather than manufacturing it ourselves. That keeps the choice of equipment open to what suits your menu, and we manage delivery, installation and commissioning so it arrives in the right order.
